Refund Policy
. Deposits & Payments
• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all event bookings. The deposit covers initial planning, consultations, and securing necessary resources.
• The remaining balance must be paid by 14 days before the event.
• Failure to make payments on time may result in cancellation of services without a refund.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Client Cancellations
• Cancellations must be made in writing via email to info@fmnevents.com.
• Deposits are non-refundable, except in cases where Forget Me Not Events is unable to fulfill the booking.
• If cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the event, a partial refund of any payments (excluding the deposit) may be issued.
• Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable, as preparations and bookings will have been finalized.
Rescheduling
• Clients may request to reschedule an event with at least 21 days notice.
• Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur an additional fee if costs have already been incurred.
• If a rescheduled date is unavailable, the standard cancellation policy applies.
3. Service Adjustments & No-Show Policy
• Changes to event details (e.g., guest count, venue, theme) must be communicated as early as possible. Additional fees may apply.
• If the client fails to provide necessary event details or access (e.g., venue not accessible for setup), no refund will be issued.
• If the client fails to show up for a scheduled consultation or event setup, no refunds will be granted.
4. Force Majeure & Business Cancellations
• If Forget Me Not Events must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, extreme weather, venue closure), we will offer:
• A full refund OR
• A credit toward a future event, if preferred by the client.
• We are not liable for cancellations due to force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics). In such cases, we will work with the client to reschedule where possible.
5. Refund Processing
• Approved refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days via the original payment method.
• Clients are responsible for any transaction fees associated with refunds (if applicable).
